This section covers the myhelpmate.app website. The application is covered further down.
The site sets no cookies and uses no trackers, no analytics and no advertising.
Typefaces are hosted on this domain. No request is made to a third-party service, so your IP address is passed to nobody other than the site's host.
One single piece of information is kept in your browser: the language you chose, so that a language switch is not offered again on every visit. It never leaves your device and is read by nobody.
The site contains no forms and collects no personal data.
The application
This policy applies to the my helpmate application, published as a free service and provided as is.
What information does the application collect?
What you write in the application stays on your device and in your iCloud. Nobody collects that content and nobody has access to it. No registration is required to use the application.
Does the application collect your location?
No. The application neither collects nor stores your location. If you turn on notifications with weather and allow location access, it uses your approximate location, only while the application is open, to ask Apple Weather (WeatherKit) for the local weather and personalise the text of a notification. That location is not kept, not included in your backups, and not sent anywhere other than that Apple service.
Do third parties have access to this information?
No data is sold or shared for advertising or commercial purposes. Your data only passes through the Apple services you already use: your personal iCloud, and Apple Weather if you turn on the weather.
How do I stop everything?
By uninstalling the application, through the usual process on your device or on the App Store.
Children
The application does not knowingly solicit data from children under 13 and is not directed at them. The publisher does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided such information, write to the contact address below so that the necessary steps can be taken.
Security
I collect nothing and I have no server: there is therefore nothing on my side that an unauthorised third party could access. Your entries stay on your device and in your personal iCloud.

This policy may be updated. Changes are published on this page, which you are advised to consult from time to time.
